Denise Holly Dorfman, 28, disappeared on February 9, 1980, from her apartment in San Francisco, California. Denise, an artist, dancer, and concert pianist, was studying and working at the University of San Francisco at the time. She was last seen leaving her apartment, possibly to run a short errand, and she left her home unlocked with the lights on. Her purse and money were still inside, and there were no signs of forced entry or struggle.
