Michelle Barber, an 18-year-old from Suitland, Maryland, tragically lost her life on August 10, 1986. The circumstances surrounding her death were deeply distressing and led to significant legal proceedings. Michelle was found dead as a result of a violent altercation with her ex-boyfriend, David Paige Selby. The two had met in a detention home and began a romantic relationship at the age of 16, which resulted in the birth of a child.
