In the early hours of April 28, 2025, the life of Neri Moreno Gratini, a 36-year-old Black/African American woman from Suitland, Maryland, was tragically cut short. Police responded to a call for a shooting at a residence on the 3900 block of Bexley Place at approximately 1:55 a.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered Gratini inside the home, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
