On April 2, 2002, 19-year-old Tavon Cooper was fatally shot in Baltimore, Maryland. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning in the 1300 block of West Baltimore Street, a neighborhood known as Sowebo. Cooper was transported to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on April 7.
