On February 10, 2006, Anthony "Tony" Robert Mathis, a 29-year-old resident of Hillcrest Heights, Maryland, was murdered. He was the son of the late Edward and Helen Mathis, brother to Shelly Mathis, husband to Ovidra, and father to Ashley and Aspen.
