Andre Antonio Felder, a 22-year-old man from Oxon Hill, Maryland, was shot in the early hours of June 3, 2006, in the 900 block of Marcy Avenue. The first public accounts described him only as an unidentified man who had been fatally shot around 2:15 a.m., a sudden, violent end to a night that had stretched into morning on a quiet residential block.
