In the late hours of a Saturday evening in Riverdale, Maryland, the life of 14-year-old Marcus Vines was tragically cut short. On May 29, 2010, at approximately 9:37 p.m., the young male was discovered bleeding at an Exxon gas station situated in the 6600 block of Riverdale Road, near the Baltimore-Washington Parkway. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound. Emergency services rushed him to a nearby hospital, but his injuries proved too severe, and he was pronounced dead.
