Carlos Garita-Salazar, a 19-year-old resident of Riverdale, MD, was tragically killed on September 16, 2017. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 1:20 a.m., when police responded to a report of a shooting in the 6000 block of 67th Place. Upon arrival, officers discovered Garita-Salazar inside a car, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and trauma to the upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
