Phillip Charles Boling, a 49-year-old resident of Aquasco, Maryland, died on November 25, 2011, following a confrontation with police. The incident began when Boling called 911, threatening to kill himself. When officers arrived at his home on Aquasco Road, Boling emerged from his front door and fired a shot before retreating inside to retrieve more firearms.
