A Black/African American male, Victor was a beloved son, brother, and grandson, known for his time as a high school football player at Northwestern High School, where he played both running back and linebacker. He was remembered by those who knew him as someone who had never been in trouble and was well-liked by everybody.
On that fateful Friday evening, at approximately 10:30 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting in the 4600 block of 37th Street. Upon their arrival, they discovered Victor lying in the roadway, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival. The circumstances of his death point to a robbery attempt that turned fatal.
It is believed that Victor and his friends were confronted by two individuals who intended to rob them after they had left the Brentwood Recreation Center. According to an account from someone who helped raise him, Victor hesitated during the confrontation, and a single gunshot rang out in the darkness. His friends, initially fleeing after hearing the shot, returned to find him unconscious.
The investigation into Eisenhower Kevin Victor's murder was launched by Prince George's County detectives, who worked to identify a suspect or suspects and a motive in the case.
