Prakash Rampatsingh, a 50-year-old man from Hanover, Pennsylvania, was found dead on June 27, 2014, in Hampstead, Maryland. His body was discovered in a wooded area near the 3200 block of Falls Road by a crew working on a cellphone tower. An autopsy revealed that Rampatsingh died from a gunshot wound, and his death was ruled a homicide. Rampatsingh, who worked for a property management company in Baltimore, was estranged from his wife and had teenage children.
