In the late morning of September 13, 2017, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, 21-year-old Catrell Wallace was found in a parking lot in the 2600 block of Weller Avenue with a gunshot wound. Emergency medical services transported him to a local hospital, but he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. The shooting occurred at approximately 10:45 a.m.
