In the autumn of 2014, the life of 31-year-old Devine Lionell Wood of Waldorf, Maryland, was cut short in a violent act that left a community searching for answers. A family member grew concerned and reported him missing in Charles County on Sunday, October 26, 2014, with the limited information that he might have last been seen in Prince George's County. A search by Prince George's County Police Department officers in the Brandywine area that evening proved unsuccessful.
