Father of 4 working on vehicle shot and killed On a warm evening in New Orleans, Christopher Bordere, Sr., a 44-year-old African-American male, was fatally shot multiple times. The incident occurred on Monday, November 6, 2017, as he was diligently working on a vehicle outside his residence at 4733 Raymond Joseph Drive. Emergency responders discovered him slumped behind the wheel of the car and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was a husband and a father to four children.
The New Orleans Police Department continues to investigate the homicide of Christopher Bordere, Sr., which remains an open case. To date, no arrests have been made, and authorities have not publicly identified any suspects or a motive in his shooting. Investigators are still seeking information from the public to help solve this crime. His loved ones laid him to rest on November 17, 2017, at Resthaven Cemetery.
