On a Saturday afternoon in February 2016, tragedy struck in the 2300 block of W. Lafayette Ave in Baltimore, Maryland, where a double shooting claimed the lives of two young men. One of the victims was 20-year-old Anthony A. Daniels. The incident, which unfolded around 1:40 p.m. on February 20th, also resulted in the death of 15-year-old Quindell Ford. Anthony, known to some as a local rapper who went by the name Underated Ant, was born in Baltimore on April 12, 1995. He was known for his ability to make others laugh and was described as a devoted family man and a true friend. He had received his education from the Baltimore City Public School System.
In the wake of the shooting, an investigation was launched to identify and apprehend the person or persons responsible for the deaths of Anthony Daniels and Quindell Ford. Information from news sources indicated that a 16-year-old was subsequently charged in connection with the shooting deaths of the two victims.
