Ashley Long, a 29-year-old woman from Baltimore, Maryland, was tragically killed on April 29, 2017. The incident occurred in the 700 block of North Rose Street, where Long was involved in a physical altercation with a female relative of Qu'sean Swilling. After the fight had seemingly ended, Swilling, who was 19 years old at the time, opened fire on Long as she attempted to flee the scene.
