In the spring of 2017, the life of Tony Lamont Tingle Jr., a 31-year-old Black man, was tragically cut short in Baltimore, Maryland. On the evening of May 6th, Tingle was inside a house located in the 1300 block of North Stricker Street in the Sandtown-Winchester neighborhood when violence erupted. He was fatally shot in the chest and later passed away at the University of Maryland Trauma Center.
