In the spring of 2017, the life of Dorian Faulkner, a 29-year-old Black female from Baltimore, Maryland, was tragically cut short. On May 24, 2017, she was found deceased, the victim of a shooting that had occurred three days earlier.

The incident that led to her death took place just after midnight on May 21, 2017. Faulkner was discovered at 5100 Park Heights Avenue. The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain largely unclear, as details from the investigation have been sparse.
