Devante Monroe, a 24-year-old resident of Baltimore, Maryland, was tragically killed on the night of August 18, 2017. The incident occurred around 11:45 p.m. when police were called to the 1600 block of Cliftview Avenue in East Baltimore following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found Monroe suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. He was immediately transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
