Tyrone Ray Jr., a 22-year-old from Baltimore, Maryland, was tragically shot to death on September 4, 2017. Ray, who was the grandson of Maryland House Majority Whip Talmadge Branch, was gunned down in northeast Baltimore. The incident was particularly brutal, with Ray being shot 24 times. The murder was captured on surveillance cameras, which showed two men, Raekwon Thornton and Lamont Kyler, circling the block before approaching and shooting Ray.
