Kesa Kibibi Baker, a 44-year-old Black female from Baltimore, was tragically killed on Wednesday, October 4, 2017. Her life was cut short in a violent incident that unfolded in Brooklyn Park, a community just outside of Baltimore, Maryland. On that Wednesday afternoon, first responders were called to the scene of a car that had crashed through a fence and was engulfed in flames.
Inside the burning vehicle, authorities made a grim discovery. They found Ms.
Baker and a companion, later identified as 34-year-old Darrell Antonio Blowe of Dundalk. Both were unresponsive and were pronounced dead at the scene. Initially, it may have appeared to be a fatal car crash and fire, but the subsequent investigation by the Anne Arundel County police revealed a more sinister story. Autopsies determined that both Kesa Kibibi Baker and Darrell Antonio Blowe had died from multiple gunshot wounds.
