On October 24, 2023, at approximately 8:55 p.m., Baltimore Police officers responded to a reported shooting in the 2200 block of Sidney Avenue. Upon arrival, they found 54-year-old Regina Claggett Brown suffering from a gunshot wound to the head and a 24-year-old male with gunshot injuries. Both victims were transported to a local hospital, where Brown was pronounced deceased; the male victim was listed in stable condition.
