In the spring of 2018, the life of 54-year-old Rona Yvonne Brand was tragically cut short in her East Baltimore home. On April 16th, she and her long-term boyfriend, Clyde Burrell, were found shot in the head. The grim discovery was made after family members became concerned and authorities were alerted. The investigation into the double homicide quickly focused on a family member who had been living with the couple. Neighbors informed police that Brand's nephew had been staying at the residence.
