In the early evening of July 11, 2021, the body of 28-year-old Candace Acevedo, a White female, was discovered under an overpass in Baltimore, Maryland. Responding to a call at approximately 5:29 p.m., patrol officers from the Southern District found her unresponsive at the intersection of South Monroe and Russell Streets. Paramedics were unable to revive her and pronounced her dead at the scene.
