Twila Mooney, a 47-year-old woman from Waco, Texas, tragically died on July 21, 2017. She and her husband, William Mooney, were found dead in their houseboat at Speegleville Marina on Lake Waco. The couple was discovered by a co-worker who became concerned after they did not show up for work. Both bodies showed signs of gunshot wounds, leading authorities to believe it was a murder-suicide.
