Sion Matthews, a 25-year-old resident of Aberdeen, Maryland, was tragically shot and killed on December 15, 2017, in Baltimore. Matthews was found in the 4300 block of Shamrock Avenue in the Belair-Edison neighborhood of Northeast Baltimore. His death was part of a series of violent incidents that plagued the city during that period, contributing to the high homicide rate in Baltimore for the year 2017.
