In the late hours of a Wednesday in Baltimore, the life of Julio Bernado Delgado was tragically cut short. On May 14, 2025, in the 2300 block of Jefferson Street, the 36-year-old Black male was the victim of a fatal shooting. The incident, which unfolded at approximately 11:56 p.m., prompted a swift response from the Southeast District patrol officers.
Upon their arrival at the scene, law enforcement discovered Delgado suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.
He was quickly transported to a local hospital for emergency medical attention. Despite the efforts of medical professionals, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
The Baltimore Police Department's Homicide Unit has since launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Delgado's death.
