Jaelynn Willey, a 16-year-old student from Great Mills, Maryland, tragically lost her life on March 22, 2018, after being shot by her ex-boyfriend, Austin Rollins, at Great Mills High School. The incident occurred on March 20, 2018, when Rollins, armed with a Glock handgun, confronted Jaelynn in a school hallway just before classes began. The two had recently ended their relationship, and the shooting was not considered a random act of violence.
