On the night of March 28, 2018, a fatal encounter in a parking garage in the Largo area of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, cut short the life of 39-year-old Omar Wright. Responding to reports of a shooting at approximately 11:05 p.m. in the 600 block of Harry S. Truman Drive, police officers discovered Wright suffering from gunshot wounds.
