On October 24, 2018, 19-year-old Hassan Lucky was found shot to death on a sidewalk in Laurel, Maryland. Responding to a report of a shooting, Prince George's County Police discovered Lucky lying unresponsive with a gunshot wound in the 13000 block of Laurel Bowie Road around 3:30 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene^1^. The police have not determined a motive for the shooting and initially had no suspects, but they did not believe it was a random act^1^.
