Daniel Battle, aged 42, was tragically shot and killed on December 14, 2018, in Baltimore, Maryland. The incident occurred in the 2800 block of Pelham Avenue in the northeast district at approximately 9:59 p.m. Battle was transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His death was one of the many homicides that contributed to Baltimore's high murder rate in 2018, which saw over 300 homicides by the end of the year.
