On the evening of March 4, 2019, in Baltimore, Maryland, 18-year-old Tywon Smith, an African-American male, was fatally shot. His death was the result of a violent encounter rooted in the city's ongoing gang conflicts. Smith was reportedly affiliated with the Black Guerrilla Family a connection that would ultimately lead to his untimely demise.
