On June 7, 2024, 24-year-old William Coffey was fatally shot in the parking lot of J Cats Bar in Braddock Hills, near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The incident occurred around 1:52 a.m., when first responders found Coffey with multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
