On a Tuesday afternoon in December of 2019, Curtis Mark Jones Jr., a 28-year-old male, was inside a liquor store on Central Avenue in Seat Pleasant, Maryland, when an argument broke out. The dispute, which took place around 4:45 p.m. on December 3rd, escalated with tragic suddenness. In the heat of the confrontation, a single gunshot echoed through the establishment.
