In the Pigtown neighborhood of Baltimore on the morning of Saturday, February 22, 2020, a violent encounter left a young man fighting for his life. Oluwatobi Aihevba, a 28-year-old Black male, was discovered with a gunshot wound to his head on the 1300 block of Sergeant Street. The incident occurred at approximately 10:45 AM.
Emergency services responded to the scene, and Aihevba was transported to a local hospital for medical attention.
Despite the efforts of medical professionals, the severity of his injury was too great. He succumbed to his wound the following day, on Sunday, February 23, 2020. His death was ruled a homicide.
The investigation into the shooting that ended Oluwatobi Aihevba's life is ongoing. To date, authorities have not publicly identified any suspects in connection with the shooting, and no arrests have been announced. The circumstances that led to the fatal shooting remain unclear as the case continues to be investigated.
