In the quiet neighborhood of Parkville, Maryland, the life of a 23-year-old man, Anthony Laron Richardson Jr., was cut short on the night of February 25, 2020. That evening, on Comet Court, Richardson was shot at least once in what police would later describe as a targeted attack. He was rushed to a local hospital but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
