In the quiet neighborhood of Parkville, Maryland, the life of a 23-year-old man, Anthony Laron Richardson Jr., was cut short on the night of February 25, 2020. That evening, on Comet Court, Richardson was shot at least once in what police would later describe as a targeted attack. He was rushed to a local hospital but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
The investigation into the death of the male victim led Baltimore County Police to identify two suspects.
The first, 25-year-old Michael Kevin Richardson Jr., was apprehended on March 26, 2020. Despite sharing a surname, police confirmed that he was not related to the victim. He was subsequently charged with first-degree murder and held without bail.
A second suspect, 23-year-old Curtis Ray Carradine Jr., was arrested on April 7, 2020. He also faced a charge of first-degree murder for his alleged involvement in the fatal shooting. Like Michael Richardson, Carradine was held without bail. Authorities believe that both men targeted Anthony Richardson in the incident that led to his untimely death.
