and Norberto Rivera died on May 15, 2023. Months later, on August 8, 2023, the medical examiner officially ruled his death a homicide, formally linking it to the distant act of violence. Despite the passage of time and the reclassification of the case as a homicide, the search for those responsible for Rivera's death continues.
