Norberto Rivera, a 25-year-old resident of Baltimore, Maryland, was tragically shot on July 5, 2020, in the 1600 block of Joplin Street. Despite the severity of his injuries, Rivera survived for nearly three years before succumbing to his wounds on May 15, 2023^1^. His death was officially ruled a homicide on August 8, 2023.
