Death by Force

On December 1, 2024, at approximately 3:28 a.m., Baltimore Police responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 2200 block of North Monroe Street. Upon arrival, officers found no victim at the scene. Shortly thereafter, a 30-year-old male, later identified as Montrell Smith, arrived at a local hospital seeking treatment for a gunshot wound.
