Darrius Hines, 29, male, was shot in the late afternoon of October 15, 2025, on the 500 block of Callendar Street in South Baltimore. Officers were called just after 4 p.m. for reports of gunfire and found him suffering from multiple wounds to the upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The shooting unfolded along a narrow residential stretch associated with the Pigtown area, where neighbors were left to watch the block close under police tape as homicide detectives began their work.
