George Scott Bishop, a 46-year-old man, was killed during a sudden and apparently targeted shooting inside his Charleston, West Virginia, apartment during the early morning hours of April 25, 2021. At approximately 3:45 a.m., Bishop was sitting on a couch in an apartment complex in the 700 block of Crescent Road when an armed stranger opened the front door and immediately began firing. Bishop was struck multiple times and died at the scene before he could receive medical assistance.
