On June 5, 2021, Jose Velasquez-Lemos, age 20, was tragically killed in a shooting incident at an apartment complex in East Riverdale, Maryland. The Prince George’s County Police Department responded to the scene at approximately 8:40 a.m. and found Velasquez-Lemos and another victim, Hilber Martinez Velasquez, also 20 years old, suffering from gunshot wounds.
