On the late evening of July 30, 2021, a transaction set to take place on Ryderwood Court in Landover, Maryland, turned fatal. Seventeen-year-old Kyree Duvall, a male resident of Hillcrest Heights, had arranged to meet with 20-year-old Camisha Jenifer, also from Hillcrest Heights, for the purpose of a gun sale. What precisely transpired during their interaction remains unclear, but the meeting escalated into violence.
