On October 19, 2021, at approximately 2:00 a.m., deputies from the Harford County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting in the 1700 block of Dearwood Court in Edgewood, Maryland. Upon arrival, they found 36-year-old African American male O'Brien Butler inside a residence with a gunshot wound to the upper body.
