Joseph James "Big Joe" Oakes, a 19-year-old resident of Lexington Park, Maryland, tragically passed away on January 12, 2022. Born on November 20, 2002, in Leonardtown, Maryland, Joseph was a recent graduate of Great Mills High School, where he was actively involved in the NJROTC and the football team.
