In the late evening hours of August 22, 2020, the life of 32-year-old Dyante Lee Battle, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in Lexington Park, Maryland. His body was discovered in a wooded area situated between a Wendy's parking lot and North Essex Drive after police responded to reports of shots fired in the vicinity.
