On the evening of Friday, September 13, 2024, in Lexington Park, Maryland, the life of 18-year-old Jovan William Medley was tragically cut short. At approximately 9:50 p.m., deputies from the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the intersection of Midway Drive and Wasp Drive following reports of a shooting.
