On an evening in August, the community of Lexington Park, Maryland, was shaken by an act of violence that claimed the life of 53-year-old Anthony Charles Wright. On August 9, 2022, at approximately 5:52 p.m., deputies from the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the 21600 block of Great Mills Road following reports of a shooting.
