On a late spring evening in Baltimore, Maryland, the life of Andrew Dwight Smith Jr., a 29-year-old Black male, was tragically cut short. On June 2, 2022, Smith was in the 4200 block of St. Georges Avenue when he was shot multiple times.
The Baltimore Police Department responded to a call for a shooting at approximately 9:48 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Smith suffering from several gunshot wounds to his torso.
