In the summer of 2022, a burst of gunfire shattered the mid-morning calm in a West Baltimore neighborhood, leaving a man's life tragically cut short. On June 14, at approximately 11:19 a.m., police responded to reports of a shooting in the 1300 block of North Stockton Street. Upon their arrival, they discovered 50-year-old Dwaine Edwards suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Emergency medical services were promptly dispatched to the scene and transported Edwards to a nearby hospital
for treatment. Despite the efforts of medical professionals, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. The case was subsequently classified as a homicide, prompting an investigation by the Baltimore Police Department's Homicide detectives.
As of now, the investigation into Dwaine Edwards' death remains ongoing. Authorities have not publicly identified any suspects or made any arrests in connection with the shooting.
