Roberto Santos-Melendez, a 44-year-old resident of Hyattsville, Maryland, was tragically killed on September 5, 2022. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 12:55 a.m., in the parking lot of a convenience store located in the 7700 block of 23rd Avenue in Lewisdale. Santos-Melendez was found unresponsive at the scene, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, and was pronounced dead shortly after police arrived.
